Dawn's Chestnut Goodies

 

These great tasting little appetizers are a real growd pleaser.

2 Cans water chestnuts drained

3/4 Cup lite soy sauce

3/4 Cup light brown sugar

1 Package Turkey Bacon (Cut each strip in half)

Marinate the drained water chestnuts overnight in the soy sauce. Drain off the soy sauce when ready to assemble. Coat the chestnuts in the brown sugar. Wrap 1/2 strip of turkey bacon around each chestnut and secure with toothpick. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for about 10 minutes in a 350 oven. Broil until bacon becomes crisp. Serve immediately.
